To whom it may concern:

I have known Ron Putnam for approximately 18 years. I consider hm a dear friend in the Lord. We have walked many miles together. Some of our dearest times are when we both attended Denver Seminary pursuing our Master of Divinity degree. Seminary is a grueling time but Ron was always the one I could count on to encourage me along the way.

One word comes to mind when I think of Ron: passion! He has an unquenchable passion for the Lord and to serve Him with all his heart. This passion is what motivated Ron to be the founder of Slavic Christian Ministries which is a ministry in the Ukraine. Ron saw an unfilled need to the people of Ukraine and passionately pursued the opportunity to minister to them.

Most people simply join a mission organization, but Ron started one. I am amazed at his ability to organize the ministry, fund the ministry, recruit Americans and Ukrainians to participate in the ministry, teach discipleship courses, write three discipleship books, and grow the ministry. It has been amazing to see what the Lord has accomplished through Ron.

In all my experiences with Ron, he has always exhibited the highest standards of character and ethics. Ron is one of the most ethical people I know. He will go to the greatest lengths in order to remain true to his faith, character and ethics.

Ron also has a great gift of communicating God's Word. Whether in a preaching or teaching situation, Ron stands out as one who is truly gifted.

Needless to say, I wholeheartedly recommend Ron Putnam. He is a man of uncommon passion for the Lord coupled with uncommon passion for people.
